Wesley is here!

So, this relates to the boys part of the blog title. Wesley Andrew Studee was born on November 11th, at 8am. Weighing in at 8 lbs, 8 1/2 oz, and measuring 20 1/2 inches long. We get to go home tomorrow so he can meet his big brother!

Joshua's Christmas sweater

Here is my latest work in progress (WIP). Joshua's christmas sweater. It is another Lion Brand pattern using Vanna's Choice. No, I don't have a thing for Vanna White, I just like good quality acyrlic yarn for kids projects! I have the back, front right, and front left done. There is some hope he will get it by Christmas!

Baby blanket

Here is the finished baby blanket! It was worked up using Lion Brand Vanna's Choice Yarn and a pattern from Lion Brand. It is my first attempt at an entrelac pattern and I feel it turned out pretty well! Now all we are waiting for is the baby to get snuggly in it!

First post

We are heading to the hospital in a week for baby boy #2 to be born. I am excited and ready and nervous all at the same time. Unfortunately, I can't knit right now due to RIDICULOUS swelling of my hands. At least I finished the baby's blanket, pictures will be posted soon. I hope to finsh JP's sweater by Christmas time, but progress has been stalled by my hand issue :(

On another fun note, I got buttons and a clasp for a future project today. It made me VERY happy! Now, will I ever have time to knit with TWO boys? We will find out...
